Dr Charalampos (Babbis) Fassoulas,
Dr C. Fassoulas is curator of the Geological and Paleontological collections at the Natural
History Museum of the University of Crete, Greece since 1996 and since 2004 teaches also at
the Science and Technology School of the University of Crete as a Laboratory Teaching staff.
He holds a diploma in geology and a PhD thesis in structural geology and neotectonics from
the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His main scientific and research topics deal with
geodynamics and tectonics of Aegean; tectonic geomorphology in modern orogenic zones;
Natural risk mitigation; and geoconservation.
